On June 3, 2023, the South Bend race will have a new out-and-back course that both starts and finishes at the Century Center. The new course and the new finish will accommodate all of our established events: half-marathon, 10K run, 5K run and 5K fitness walk. Additionally, it will:
- Help alleviate the congestion on course between runners and walkers
- Allow the use of strollers in the 5K walk
- Eliminate the need for shuttling to and from the start and the finish
- Offer a fun and celebratory post-race experience tailored for all ages
You work hard to prepare for your race and we want to celebrate your accomplishment! Sunburst often feels like an annual reunion where we happily reconnect with friends, running enthusiasts from near and far and our beloved volunteers. We can’t wait to do it again this year. And we love that we’ll be right in the heart of downtown South Bend within walking distance of many restaurants and activities. We’re going to celebrate big in The Bend!
